Welcome!

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. My work bridges the worlds of cultural economics, global cultural diplomacy, and practical performing arts management. I have an educational background in economics and cultural management. Originally from Moscow, Russia, I lived and worked in London, UK for almost 20 years before moving to New York in 2023. This international outlook is further enhanced by my fluency in multiple languages, which allows me to navigate diverse cultural landscapes.

I am also deeply committed to a holistic approach to education and research: one that recognizes that keeping the body active and moving is vital to developing a sharp, creative mind. I am a big believer in active learning through doing and taking education outside of the classroom as much as possible.
